Coco Eats
An all-day affair among a stylish Labone setting.
Coco Eats blends spirited energy with laid-back charm – think fun lighting, TVs dotted throughout, and a soundtrack that keeps things upbeat without shouting. This is an all-day affair. The day starts with the exceptional breakfasts and brunches between 8am and noon. The standout dishes here include Halloumi Pomodoro and Coco’s Truffle Croissant, or perhaps a salmon and egg tartine (yes it is as good as it sounds). Later in the day, it’s the Coco Smash Burger, Chilli Beef Pizza or a meat medley with Jollof. And then for the evening, we have a choice between a steak or Teryaki Lamb Cutlets.
Just as good a reason to come is the signature cocktails. Red Red, tequila with beetroot, orange, carrot and agave, or the Matcha Martini (why has this not been in our life earlier?). Coco Eats hits the sweet spot between casual and clever. It’s not fine dining, but the food is better thought out than many casual cafés, the cocktails are a reason to linger, and the energy makes it more than just a quick bite.
