Green Eats Salad Bar is a pioneer of Ghana’s burgeoning healthy-eating movement. From its Nyaniba Estates location, it has a ‘build your own salad’ concept, which has helped it gain a large following.

If you’re looking for hearty home cooking Ghanaian-style, this is a good bet. The staff are ‘relaxed’, but the food is fresh and very tasty – fufu, banku and jollof rice all come with a choice of chicken, beef, mutton or fish.

Recently relocated to a new location on Presidential Drive, Bella Afrik is not your typical Italian joint. Yes, you’ll find pasta and antipasto on the menu, but dishes are strongly influenced by South American cuisine, adding a real kick to proceedings.

Housed in the sleek, glass-fronted building that was formerly home to Burger & Relish, Bôndai – part of an independent, family-run group of restaurants – is a welcome addition to the city’s dining scene.

Conveniently situated close to the centre of Osu, Buka is, without question, one of the best lunch spots in the city – as evidenced by the fact that there’s rarely an empty seat in the house.
